New pictures have been released from V Magazine of 5 plus size models. Controversial? Perhaps 5 years ago, but it all seems rather old-hat now especially considering that one of the models is wearing a Mark Fast outfit which frankly caused more of a stir when it was shown on the catwalk last year.
I'm torn between what to think, of course these women are beautiful, they are after all models, there faces are angular and stunning, BUT I have real objections to the fact that the models are either rake thin, or just way overweight, and frankly both weights are dangerous.
I actually think its much more damaging to see faces that are photoshopped to hell and bare no real resemblance to human faces, especially in make- up adverts- mascara adverts that have fake lashes, and hair adverts that have hair extensions.
Nonetheless it is encouraging to see such a well established magazine taking the initiative....
